Baka Proof (“Baka Proof,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) creates Japanese language-learning content and operates tools that help prepare and publish that content. This policy explains what information may be handled when you use our website or authorize a connected service.

- Account and authorization data: identifiers, profile details, access tokens, and permissions supplied by a third-party platform when an authorized user connects an account.
- Publishing data: captions, media, privacy choices, and posting status needed to prepare or publish content selected by the authorized user.
- Support information: information you voluntarily provide when requesting help.
2. How we use information
We use information only as reasonably needed to:
- operate, secure, maintain, and improve Baka Proof;
- authenticate authorized users and provide requested features;
- prepare, preview, publish, and monitor content at a user's direction;

3. Connected platforms
If you connect a third-party platform, Baka Proof accesses only the data and permissions presented in that platform's authorization screen. We do not post content without an intentional action by the authorized user. You can revoke access from the connected platform's account settings. After revocation, the integration will no longer be able to access new account data, although limited records may be kept where required for security, legal compliance, or audit history.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that host, secure, analyze, or operate Baka Proof; with a connected platform when you request an action; or when required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety, and security. Service providers may process information only for the services they provide to us.
5. Data retention and security
We keep information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above. Authorization tokens are restricted to the service components that need them. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no system can guarantee absolute security.
6. Your choices
You may disconnect a linked account through the third-party platform, decline optional permissions, or ask us to review or delete personal information associated with your use of Baka Proof. Some records may be retained where legally required or necessary to prevent fraud and document security events.
7. Children
Baka Proof is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. International processing
Information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for cross-border processing.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Baka Proof changes. The updated date above will show when the latest version took effect. Material changes will be communicated through an appropriate notice when required.
